The Chartered Institute of Marketing – website

During my time at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), I became increasingly involved with the web team creating CIM’s brand new website design. As well as the print material that was all part of their new corporate ID.

I was tasked with designing all the updated web pages, across the whole site. These designs would then be passed on to the web development team and incorporated into their CMS system – Umbraco.

All design work required close co-operation with the dev team, to make sure each design could be implemented efficiently and on time. So I created pages that would easily fit into the existing CMS components with the minimal of new or custom code needed.

This required me to gain a detailed knowledge of all aspects of CIM’s structure and business sectors. And to work closely with the website strategy team to identify which parts of the large site needed focus and clear design attention.
